Noy Balda
Noy is an Ecuadorian-born, Chicago-area visual artist whose “rhythmic abstract” paintings translate music into color, gesture, and layered texture. Raised in Guayaquil and now based on the North Shore, she works across canvas, paper, and leather, and hosts intimate painting parties/workshops from her Northbrook studio. Balda’s multicultural roots and synesthetic, music-driven process shape vibrant works that feel both kinetic and introspective.
